Brian Boylan was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1966. He began his artistic career in animation at Sullivan Bluth Studios in Dublin. He then decided to leave Ireland to experience different cultures. After working in England and Australia, he landed in the United States. Over the course of the past ten years he has worked at major animation studios such as Disney, Warner Brothers and Dreamworks.

Although he has not lived in Ireland since 1992, Brian's admiration for his birthplace is the centerpiece of his art. His current body of work consists of stylized chalk pieces influenced by Celtic designs and depicts Irish myths and legends such as An Bradan Feasa and Tir Na nOg. He is also doing a series of whimsical Flamingos.

Brian has exhibited in Hollywood,Venice beach and Hermosa Beach. He currently resides in Manhattan Beach,California with his wife Juli and daughters Sophi and Erica De and little doggie,Ebby.
